Yea, I came across that article to. worth reading, learned a lot. I just have my buddies helmet now, but when I get my own I dont plan on spending as much after reading all that. Sounds like the extra few hundred bucks just makes it look pretty.

the high priced ones will often have nice little features like more comfortable interiors, better ventilation, higher quality lenses. nice features but don't make it protect you any better.
