I hate to be a wet-towel here, but few DMVs in the US will register a non-US bike.
I've only seen it done with one Honda (I think it was a CB1600) which was done by the owner of a Honda dealership up in Olympia, Washington. And for some unexplained reason after going through all the trouble of importing it, the guy was selling it for a very good price; (which I read to mean that getting it registered was probably going to be impossible, and the bike was fated to be someone's living room furniture.
It's a PITA to bring a 49-state bike into California, and a serious PITA to import a foreign bike, even if you do it piece-by-piece. Check with your DMV before bidding on anything in Ebay.
