I recently purchased an 04 Ninja 500r, with 450 miles on it, and realized after viewing several bikes within this forum that my decals were taken off the upper fairing. I am wanting to replace them with the original looking decals I have found a few sites online (non OEM) that offer complete kits (relatively cheap) but I am not sure if they include the black and orange stripes, ninja and 500r lettering. This is the first street bike I have ever owned and would like to keep it stock appearing. I hope this is not a repeat question, but does anyone know where I can pick up the decals I'm missing at a decent price?

The tank decals are still intact and look great but the rest are gone

Thanks to all I have found so many great posts that helped me to take care of my carb issues due to 5 year old gas left in the tank, runs great now! I mean WoW!

 

Welcome to KF. Sometimes a first bike is best allowed to be just used and get used to it before buying cosmetic goodies. No offense, but the money may be better spent on the MSF or similar. Congrats on the new ride.

 

No offense taken, I think you are right the MSF is a must for me, just because I know how to ride by no means, makes me a safe rider, or give me the tools needed to dodge the evil cagers. I may be new to street riding but I'm not new to stupid. I like the way you think Thanks.

Besides decals don't make the bike crash proof, what was I thinking?
