Remember all 250 and pretty much any bikes speedos are off by about 5mph over so subtract 5 mph.

And if you run it up to about 10k-11k before each shift you can hit 100+ mph easier. The bikes made to shift high, if your shifting below 9k your killing it.

 

got mine up to 90 in a highway bend, i didnt even notice how fast i was goin till i looked down and was like o **** better bring it down some. and i weigh 215.

 

2nd day I had my 06 250 I put it in the ditch so I'm a little leary about getting up to high speeds,,, But over the weekend I did get up to 65. What should your RPMs be at 65?
