Default Serious carb help please!!!!!

Okay so I need some suggestions with my carbs on my 95 250. Last year it didnt run all that great. Since then, I have adjusted the valves, cleaned the carbs and have new jets. The bike will idle beautifully and rev up in neutral pretty decent all the way till redline. The only problem is, is that while actually riding the bike, it boggs down real bad between 4-5K RPMs. If I hold the throttle wide open while it is bogging for about a full 1.5-2 seconds, the bog will clear out and the bike picks up and goes like a bat out of hell. I do have pod filters on the bike but all the jetting seems to be right. What could this bog be? Thank you in advance.

oursis doing that right off idle until about 4-5k rpms. I was thinking that maybe some fuel had started to varnish inside the carb. I'll try replacing the gas and some carb cleaner also and let you know how it works.

sounds like a needle problem or maybe the needles are conflicting with the jets. did you use an aftermarked jet kit?

OK,so I messed with the carbs today and raised the needles up with 3 #4 brass washers and it seemed to cure the midrange bog between 4-5K RPM. Itried 4 washers under the needles noticed no difference between 3 washers and 4. I am thinking I will drop it back down to 3 washers and try some 108 Main Jets since stock on mine is 105. I assume with the bigger MJ, I will most likely take most if not all washers out from the needels. Does this sound right to anyone? Any advice?
