Yes skeets.reserve is meant for only a backup. Just fill the tank and refill about 200 miles and you wont have to use the reserve.

Just make sure that if you have to use it, you put it back after you fill up.

you can also try tilting the bike towards the switchto geta few extra miles, a tank with a curved bottom will trap gas on the opposite side, so tilting it will get you a little extra to make it to the station.

this works just dont let it fall. make sure there is no gravel or leaves around you
