So, I got the fairing Ialready had all repaired, and primed. I am still waiting for my new lower fairing, left side controls andaftermarket signals to arrive. I received my new seat, grips, and pegs during the week. I started doing a little bondo work on my gas tank, which I have decided to repair, instead of purchasing a new one. They simply cost too much. So all I need to get yet is a windshield, and a upper fairing. I should have them purchased by the end of the week. Then it simply comes down to assembly. I used flat black primer on the fairings that I have now, and it looks real mean on the bike. After I get the all the final sanding done, I'm going to spray them with a flat black paint, vs. the primer that is on them now as primer doesn't seal against water.I will try to get some pictures tonight of my progress.

You guys sure do like hijacking threads around here. Do you mind leaving it in the OT section, and leave my project thread be?
Can a mod clean this threadup, thanks.

Here are some more pics. All that is left is an upper fairing, and windshield. I have to finished preping the new lower fairing and gas tank, and get them in primer soon. I tinted the tails, and they came out great. I'll have more progress pics soon

SoI couldn't help my self, I put some 92 octane in the unfinished tank, replaced the spark plugs and tried to start it for the first time since I got the bike. Unfortunately it didn't start, not even a pop. I'm not 100% sure it's getting fuel.I have no mechanical experience with bikes, so I have a friend that works at a Kawasaki dealership who is going to look at it for me. It was a little disappointing, but I'm sure I will have it running soon.

I put the top coat of flat black paint on the side and rear fairings, and front fender. Man does it look nice. I can't wait to see it all painted. I finally purchased a upper fairing. All that's left to buy is a windshield, wooooohooo!

Costs so far:
Bike: free
Fairings: $294
Seat: $50
Chromelevers and brake fluid cap: $40
Grips: $15
Black foot pegs:$40
Flush mount turn signals: $30
Paint: $30

Total investment so far: $499

new pics to come soon.

Are these the pegs you got? They look pretty much the same. When you get her rollin can you give us a ride report on the pegs?
