I finally got the chance to post some pics. They would have been better but the next step up on my camera makes the pics over 500KB.

I love the red/black color tone on your bike!

Are you gonna do any mods to it?

Yeah I love it to, I have always liked red and black together. Yeah I think eventually I will do a few mods to it but not sure. I def wont be doin any performance mods for at least a couple years but I might do some cosmetic mods.

You won't get much from performance mods anyway. The first thing that should go is the rear mudflap/license plate bracket! Then, maybe get some flush mount signals.

Oh and kind of a funny story. Me and my dad had been up to the bike place lookin for a few months while he was waiting for his retirenment check. They sell Kawasaki, honda, yamaha, and suzuki's so as you can imagine we had alot to look at. They also had a used inventory and I was looking at this used honda rebel they had a good deal on, they also had a virago but it was a bit more. My dad really wanted me to get a cruiser style and I was reasearching online and found out that with the ninja 250r you get so much more for your money! Way more power and better brakes and handling. I was like dad I want this one but they didnt have any there and he was a bit reluctant but said that he would go for that since its small and would still be easy for me to learn on. They had a yellow 500r which was oh so sweet lookin but out of my price range. Then me and him were there one day with my buddy and I was showing him the rebel and they wheeled in a black ninja with graphics and it looked so much like the 500r that I didnt know it was a 250r until a few days later when the put a tag on it and it said 250r! I was like dad omg look what they have its a 250r! He was like well Id rather you have the rebel 250 or Id even go for the virago 250 and I was like nope I want this one. He was still not sure and then he talked to this salesman and asked him what he thought and he made good points like its going to stop way better cause of the dual disc brakes, you weight is leaned a bit more foward so its gonna have better handling and it has more power to get out of a bad situation if you need to. Thats what I was tryin to tell him all along but I guess he wanted to hear it from someone else, in any case we put the ninja on reserve and now its sitting out next to my car! Its kinda crazy because the bike came in like a week before he got his check and if it would have come in just a little it later I would have never gotten this awsome bike and would have been kinda upset. Although Iam sure I would have been happy with the rebel or more so with the virago consider Iam a first time rider but still. Anyway just thought it was interesting, going out riding now on this sunny blue sky 67 degree day!! Ride safe and be smart everyone, later.
