Did you check it the way I mentioned? That is the only way to get consistent readings between bikes to know whats normal. Ill have to start mine on the side compared to the center and pay attention but I really have never noticed any difference either way, but then I wasnt looking. I only notice if its longer than normal.

It seems like the hotter it gets outside the longer the light stays on now. Maybe the 15w40 is to thick for the 109 degree weather.

You would need to look up how the numbers relate toambient temp. Its something I cant keep strait, but I think you dont want to go lower in high heat. Dont run 30, not good for the clutch. Maybe dropping to the recommended 10w would make the difference.

It baffels me this morning the light stayed on for 3 seconds and went off. Im guessing the oil screen is slightly clogged or the pump is going bad.
