I have a 88 Ninja 250. Bought a few months ago, realized I was missing some vitals (fuel tap) and have been working on it instead of enjoying it ever since. I have an issue with my wiring. The bike will start up and run, etc, but I have no headlight, turn signals, horn, guages, etc. I was wondering if there was something simple I was overlooking on this. Checked all the fuses, all are good. I have the wiring diagrams, and everything seems to be in place with exception only to the turn signal wires. There are two wires connected into the main harness, where both ends are disconnected, but from my manual that seems to be normal. Any help anyone could give would be much appreciated.

 

Not sure what to say about that. Have you checked for any corrosion on all the connections? Or, maybe you have a bad relay somewhere.

 

sounds like a main switch somewhere has given up . You traced all the wiring to all relays , switches and such ? Doesn't really sound like a wiring problem unless a main 'hot' has broken . You got a meter to check continuity with ?
