Default New member, exhaust question

I am new to the forums and new to motorcycles altogether. I manage a collision center, but do not know much about bikes. Yesterday I bought my wife a new 07 250R. She has been wanting one for the longest time. Black with pink flames (she has no clue)I know that it is not a performance bike, but I would like to put some mufflers on it just to make it louder so people in cars are more aware of her presence. I am not looking to gain HP or Torque. I just want to know what is out there that will make it a little louder and give it more of a sport tone. Thanks.

The beet nassert pictured, tsukigi was not listed for a 250. Supertrap and Muzzy are also available.

edit: sarachu may be available for the 250 as well. Welcome to KF

Kenhebe,
F1 makes a real sweet slip-on kit also, along with the Muzzy.
The Ninja 250 may not have the 600cc reputation, but it is quite a sport bike in the truest sense. It's like driving a Mazda Miata, MG or Triumph - very fun to ride and you can drive it pretty hard. My wife makes it a regular (bad) habit of racing some guys near where she works on the twisty back roads, lol, she does not have much trouble at all keeping with them and they are on R6's and YZF6 bikes. It's on the straight-aways where they can leave her behind, but that's only if they want to go faster than 110. This 250 is not comparable to the other 250's out there, the Honda Rebel, Yamaha Virago and Suzuki GS250 - those bikes are dogs.
