130/80X16 rear tire, 10w40 oil (a lot of people go with Castrol for a good all around lower priced oil), C8HSA or CR8HSA NGK spark plugs. NEVER use champion plugs! NGK are the best plugs to buy. They are also OEM and not very expensive. (about $2 per plug)

hope this helps.

do you know what the gap should be for the spark plugs? and WRX said 20w40, which is the recommended by Kawi?

your plugs need to be gaped at 0.6mm (0.024 inch) to 0.7 mm (0.028 inch). If you look at kawasaki's spec sheet for the 250R, it says to use 10W40. But I believe my owners manual lists up to 20W50 oil. It depends on the general climate where you live. 10W40 will equal best economy for your bike though.
