My first ride was 3 days ago on my 06 ninja 500. i got it at the bank..let my friend ride it home then i practiced in my apartment complex took it around the place once...went again and turned around and gave the throttle too much gas pulled the front break and lost my balance...and tipped it. no damage to the bike but later that day i was on the street and now im riding all over. i love it

 

My first ride was on a 74 Honda 200, on gravel roads with no helmet. Yeah dont do that...
When i got my 07 250 i was living in gated community so i just cruised around the roads there for about week. I got realy bored with riding the same roads so i struck out to the windy roads around the house. Just remeber watch everyone, becouse they are are not watching anything...

 

Looked good. the hardest part to learn are extremly low speed turns with counter balancing, and then highspeed - high lean turns. but keep it up i learned on a dirt bike and never looked back. in a few weeks everything will feel natual.
