your best bet is to call or go in person. ask if they have any cancelations. when i signed up on line it said i had to wait a month. i went in person to pay. asked if they had anything sooner. next thing i know im in the class that weekend. you will learn a lot from that class.

 

I just completed the MSF course and man I learned so much from it. I passed with flying colors....I highly suggest this class even if you have your license and have ridden for a while.

 

No disrespect to the others, but both my wife and I found it to be a total waste of time and money. Your skill level and riding experience willhave an impact on the results you get from this class. Then again, we were in the "Basic" class, required for us to getour license in lieu of the physical riding test. We have both been riding racing scooters for years, and on our permits a few months before taking the course. If I were writing up the course criteria, I would have spent a lot more time practicing emergency stopping and take-offs. Just my opinion of course.
The Honda Rebel and Suzuki GS250 were so foreign to us we had issues, lol. The Ninja250 is completely different in the way it handles. I could not keep my GS250 in the "figure-8 box" no matter what. After the course was over, I rode my Ninja250 back to the course and did that box thing over and over without a hint of trouble, lol. Man, was I pissed about that!

I know exactly what you're talking about scootertrog. I was riding a small yamaha cruiser trying to do the figure 8 and was not used to having my feet propped up in front of me like that but I did end up passing that part of the evaluation. I just think its a good overall class to take.
