I suspect your location and age (If you are under 25) is contributing most to the rates you get. Sorry man.

I am 40 yrs old with a stable work history and no tickets and good credit! WTF why is my insurance some GD high?[:@]

Do you own the new 08? Maybe the insurance companies have reclassified the 2008 into the sportbike category instead of a standard streetbike like the Pre-08 models are.

motorcycle insurance also drops after you've been insured for 1 year. since for them statisticly most accidents happen in the first year.

Sport bike??!! I don't want to **** anyone off but this is a Moped in Motorcycle clothing it's only 250cc's!!! There are 600cc scooters for Phuc sake! For a bike that runs a little more than around 3k I might just self insure but the law requires liability so I guess it's BOHICA timefor us cycle enthusiast's! BTW, Kobun makes a good point.

LOL I hear you bro but my point is this is not some souped up 1200ccc sport bike, it's a sensible yet sporty commuter or learner bike but with wicked cool style!

i just got insurance and i paid $200/yr for liability, but i am 20 yrs old so thats probably why is kinda expensive
