how much do you guys pay for insurance per year? any clue how much insurance would be for someone under 21 with a CLEAN driving record? jusst wondering

 

I am 25, and have a perfect driving record. My Insurance on the 250R is around $140/yr full coverage I believe. The one thing I ALWAYS stress to anybody inquiring on insurance is to get quotes from as many insurance companies as possible. Motorcycle coverage can, and will vary greatly between different providers. For instance, I can get full coverage on a ZX-14 for $308/yr through State Farm, whereas American Family quoted me over $5,000+ per year for the same coverage![] This is honest to god real quotes I received last year when I was curious whether or not I would be able to afford the insurance on a 14. Just keep this in mind before going with the first provider you talk to.

Actually, I was incorrect on the $140/yr. The bill just came in the mail today, and it is for $111.20/yr. Damn rates are always changing.[8D]

 

OMG the cheepest I can find in Texas is double that, can you send me your agents/insurance co.phone number!

 

I just bought a $115 policy from Progressive. I live in Texas.

 

Also remember your insurance can be determined by your credit rating, if you took the MSF safety course, and total years of experience operating a motorcycle.

 

state farm for me is $64 a month

Is $115 full coverage?! My credit should be good so I am wondering why my qoutes are so "F" ing high! The best i have found is $175.00 for full coverage!
