Hey! Congrads on your new bike! But as you can see Im a teen guy in the market for a new bike. The #1 on my list right now is the Honda Nighthawk CB250. Running up neck and neck with it is the good old Ninja 250. Since you had just bought your bike the other day I thought you would be the ideal person to ask: "how much did you pay as a down payment and how much are you expected to pay as a monthly payment? And could you mention something about how much you're paying for insurance since we're all new riders.

Welcome to the forums. I too am new at this, just bought a RED 06 250 about a month ago. It is a great bike! I got it out the door for about $3,150.00 My insurance is $29.87 per month for full coverage and a $250 deductable. I put about $1300.00 down and I only have to pay $69 a month, but I am paying about $300 just to pay it off quick. Hope this helps everyone.

my credit is really messed up so i couldnt finance my biike.....i was able to get my blue 06 250 out the door for 3000............i have really trusting friends who loaned me the money.....as far as insurance goes i went through progressive and paying 92.00 a month......my driving records not so great either.................i wish you the best of luck in getting your bike........!!!! Blues the best color!!!!!!!
