They are getting a premium on the current model, but they have less to sell and even they are competing with other dealers to get the 250's. One dealer told me he had to take 3 500's into their stock to get 2 250's. He said the 500's will most likely sit for a few moths or he'll have to take a deep cut on them. So it's more or less a wash on the 250 profits.

Interesting..definitely not the case here. 500's are nearly as hard to come by as 250's. The only one I can find locally is a traded-in 2005 with 14,000 miles on it. I hope they get stocked up once winter hits so I can go shopping.
