Fairings - 08 on the 07?
is it possible to take the front fairings off a 2008 and put them on the 2007 model? I want to get the front look but wasn't sure if they fit on the 2007? I'm going to think positivitely on this one.
If it is possible, you would also have to change the headlight, gas tank, lower fairing, etc. Every piece on the '08 has a different shape to it, therefore, if you replace one part, you will have to change the other pieces so they all "fit".
Couple of things to think about with this idea.
First, not a single piece of body work from the '07 was used on the '08. Second, the frame was changed slightly to make it more compact and handle better. Third, the angle of the front forks was changed by 1 degree for better handling. These three things combined would make it either: a)impossible to do, or b)too expensive to bother with since you might spend almost as much as the bike is worth to do it.
Most likely you'll just have to upgrade to the '08 model if you can find one (good luck on that >.>
