Default Exhaust options for ex250

I know that the muzzy is out there but what are some cheaper alternatives? Has anyone here straight piped it on the 250? Is it too loud? Give me some cheap options to work with. I bought the bike for 800 and a full muzy exhaust is running 500. I dont want to put that much into a cheap bike.

I agree with evil. If you modify the exhaust, you'll likely have to re-jet the carbs to compensate for the backpressure difference. Bikes are touchy like that.

and i do believe i have read a few times that the bike runs perfect with the stock exhaust, once you swap it, even for a muzzy system , its a pain in the azz to get dialed in correctly. gutting it would open up a whole other can of worms.
