Default RE: Still not starting

Long night, checked the timing, it's SPOT ON. I guess it wasjust a small blowback, because it sucks nicely before that. Perhaps the pods were disrupting the vacuum to some extent. Put in the stock airbox again thinking maybe the pod filters were a little too much right now and may make a better vacuum. I'm tired though, it's 4 am so I'll see if I can't start it after class in the morning. Thanks again guys for the help, you've at least been keeping me motivated to get this resolved rather than feeling stuck in the dark.

stock airbox... nothing, after trying to crank her over i could still smell fuel from inside the airbox, it must have something to do with that blowback.

so.... it might be solved, i am 95% sure this is the problem, and it might have to do with my random dislexia.... valve clearances for the EX250 are INLET: .08-.13 EXHAUST: .11-.16

if i remember correctly i did INLET: .010 EXHAUST: .014

i feel like an utter retard... guess that explains the blowback, haha. i went to the local sportbike shop owned by one of the smartest mechanics i've met named ted, owned the shop for 30 years or so now, just sat down, thought about it.... "valve clearance"

btw, i hope some of you have at least learned as much as i have, which is why i kinda wanted to keep this thread going and updating not for my own help but so NO ONE EVER GOES THROUGH THE SAME THING.... EVAR!

still crossing fingers though, thanks again everyone

i think im going to make this into a novel...

Good luck with the valve cleaence being messed up and hopefully it didn't ruin anything internally.

ok well im dumber than i thought, it was .10 and .14 mm, not inches which is what i was basing it off of... so i did a valve adjustment to the correct settings (which is actually a smaller clearance) and oddly enough, i don't have that blowback anymore, so that's a plus, still doesn't start though, put some starter fluid in the airbox and it had a small pop but nothing else, maybe flooded it, i dunno, im glad the blowback is gone
