In NH you don't have to wear a seatbelt if your over 18 or where a helmet (you do when you just have your permit) I only wear my helmet when I'm on the highway and thats only about 75% of the time. It just feels awsome w/o a helmet and I've been brought up with both my parents not wearing helmets...

In Delaware it is not law to wear a helmet...it is law, however, to have a helmet on the bike at all times...

WTF for real!!! Are you serious, that's how the law is written?? Makes no sense to me. That's like guys that buy the "fake" shortie helmets to fake out the cops, but if they hit the pavement, the whole world will know. So when you took your MC test, did ya dress for the occasion? LOL

 

so true and nothing is specified on where to wear protective head gear. Same as oregon it sounds.

 

No helmet law here, but I always wear it. I usually wear my jacket, jeans, and steel-toes. I only wore the helmet tonight because I was driving around the block testing the replacement headlight. Only had an oncoming car for about 10 seconds. I didn't even go over 15. And I didn't wear anything other than a helmet driving it home, just my work clothes, shorts and tennis. Otherwise, I would always wear jacket and helmet.

I want to get gloves for the 8am day of the week that I drive to work, and nights.

 

Gloves IMO are the second most important...behind helmet. Thats whats going to break your fall.

Good thing for sport bike riders wearing a full helmet is fine. He does not want to look uncool on his drifter wearing one. Hope I can change his mind.
