Got the valves adjusted to the looser end of the specs, and man
are they loud lol. They were a lot tighter then the low side of the specs.
I kinda figured that because the bike was getting hard to start
and took awhile to idle without the choke.

Bike runs great now but dang are the valves loud. BTW bike just turned
over 10k miles and I doubt the valves were ever adjusted before this.
I got the bike with 5k on it.

Yeah, lol. When I did mine at 500 miles, they werevery ticky for a while afterwords. I am only a few miles shy of 6k now, so it's time to do it again.

im coming up on 5K miles, so my valves are coming due to be adjusted. Its nice to know that they can be a bit loud even when adjusted right. Im used to car engines where if you can hear the valves you probly did something wrong. So its nice to know this so i dont spend a week trying to get it "right"
