Default 250R Not Starting

Hey guys, I am having trouble starting my bike. I havent ridden it for about a month and when i tried to start it the only thing that happens is it keeps cranking. Now when i turn on the choke while im cranking it it starts i let it warm up for a good 2 minutes and throw down the choke and it just dies. Even with the bike fully warmed up it wont start unless the choke is on. Any ideas whats wrong?

I am at around 560 miles and have not had a tuneup or oil change.

Thanks in advance

James

might need to clean the carb, also new bikes should be getting a tune up around 500, soyou might wannaget that done after you get it running.

If you have something that new and aren't sure on how to work on it. I wouldn't mess with it. I would just take it to the dealer for service.

Dirty carbs? Not likely. My guess is that between possibly bad fuel, and the seasonal temperature change (if this applies to you) it willcause the bike tonot run well. Syphon the old gas out andput some fresh gas in. If it still runs poorly, you may just need to adjust the idle. (Bump it up a little.) When it gets cold outside, sometimes motorcycles don't like to idle very well.

Don't forget about draining the bowls. But yes, try new fuel.
