Im not a big guy about 5'10" and weight about 130, ive been reading and some suggest that the 250 might not be enough of a bike for some of the bigger guys 6' 200lb. So I'm wondering weighing in at almost 100lbs less then some guys im guessing this weight diff is going to make for a decent notice in improved performance as well? Im not looking for anything ridiculously fast especially for my first bike but as some also said I dont want to be bored of it 6months, but with someone of my size and exp do you think the 250 would be a wise choice? thanks.

 

there are several guys here in the 240# range that ride 250's and enjoy them

 

It seems to be a great beginner bike, some like it well after they are considered beginners. It comes down to what you are looking for. I started on a 600 and had no probs, of course I have ridden dirtbikes forever.
