Default 2007 Ninja 250R Modifications

Hey everyone! I'm new to this forum and going to be getting my first bike, a 2007 Ninja 250...I'm excited about this of course, because it will be my first bike and I heard that it's very forgiving on new riders (plus I love the gas mileage on this thing). Tired of spending 120 bucks in gas on a 2004 Dodge Stratus lol...Cant wait to put 300 miles on a bike and only spend 5 bucks...I have a general question though, but before I ask money is not a problem and right now I don't want a bigger bike and it wont be a waste of my time...The question is for a 2007 Ninja 250R what kind of mods would be available...
I know of the flush mounts for the lights, Pernelli Speed Demon Tires, DynoJet Stage 1/3 Jetting, Muzzy exhaust or 2 Brothers Exhaust (I prefer a full exhaust system so im going with the muzzy exhaust) and changing the sprockets...But what else could I do to customize this bike, I wanna be the only 250 in fayetteville that has been highly modified...lol...a goal i want to reach...Money isnt that big of a issue, I got a pretty high paying job which I love lol...not to sound conceited but stating a fact that money right now is not an issue...And remember I don't want a bigger bike at the time, I want something that will kill a 600 in the twisties and be light and very versatile, but I also want for it to be quick...so what can I do?

Buy better tires to start they willhelp out a ton on the twisties. And unfortunatle $5 of gas will only get you about 125 miles. Still better then your car though.

I have the full muzzy, flush mounts, and rear fender eliminated on my bike and I love it. But the muzzy is to loud for my tastes but it came with it when i bought it so i can't complain.

What kind of tires do you recommend exactly and where did you get your rear fender elminator kit or did the previous owner already have that done for you?

The tighter the twisties, the more even, or better the Ninja250 becomes over it's 600cc Sportbike counterparts. The REAL secret to beating them though, is to become a good rider. A good rider on a slower bike usually comes out ahead of the weaker rider on a faster bike, as long as it's not a long run on a straight highway. Given two riders of equal riding level, the 600's will easily pull away on the straights, you'll catch them, maybe even pass themin the turns on the 250. Just a fact of cc's, don't try to get your Ninja250 to do something it just isn't designed to do, it's a comfortable sport bike, not a superbike, lol.
An engine is an engine, so a good tuner can port/polish the head, adjust the timing, ect... to go along with a different pipe, air filter and perhaps carb. In the end, I really don't think it's worth all that trouble. The F1 pipes really sound sweet to me, if I was going to do the pipe thing, those would be my choice.
The Sport Demons are great, as well as the Bridgestone BT-45. You can't go wrong with either set. Both give the 'lil Ninja a whole different ride than the stockers.
Have fun with the new bike and ride safe!

if money not an issue why are you worried about gas??? get a bigger nicer bike instead of ricing out your 250.

nitrous and loud paint!

you could turbo it....

gotta use a pretty small turbo however, and a tiny A/R...

hmmm...

carbon fiber stuff never fails to set apart a bike from stock..may hafta make it yourself.. not sure in the demand.. (do isee a market, eh?)

i'm sure theres conversions done for big bike parts, as well.. like 636 rims, or different suspension components..

if not, craftiness can prevail..
