08 ninja250 Riding distance?
What is the longest riding distance on interstate, 70mph riding has any of you done. My bike is reving about 9000@70mph. I was wondering if that was something to be worried about on trips and such. Many of my daily commutes is done in the city and back roads, but I would love to start taking it interstate more now that it is broke in. I just don't want to abuse it. What are you all's thoughts on 30miles and 50miles at 9000RPM?

Well with my 07 i have done 400miles in one day. My average speed was about 90mph and i think it was reving about 10500 rpm. I wouldnt worry about high rpms these engine are made to scream, lugging one of these will do LOTS more damage than revving it out high...

Here's a couple of links for you to show just how capable the ninja 250 is for long distance rides. Both of these are from riders using the older 250 on 2 different IBA (Iron Butt Association) challenges. The first one is of a rider that did 1000 miles in a day on a 250, and the second is of another rider that did over 2100 miles in under 50hrs to get one of the highest awards of the IBA, the 50cc (coast to coast in under 50hrs). Both bikes are only lightly modified with cosmetic upgrades of things like windshield and flush turn signals, but the drive trains were still stock.
