got a quick question for ya Uni..

how many of newbikes would a dealership usually get? Im asking because Im wondering if theywouldget bikes onan "on order basis" (i.e. 4 people placed a deposit on a new ninja, so the shop they ordered itfrom gets 4) or the Kawa company ships a limited amount of bikes to certain companies and it's a first come first serve basis to see who gets them.

 

we have to place the order (we ordered all four colors back in like september) and i think they see we ordered 4 but since we are a small dealer kawi has a better chance of selling them at bigger dealerships so they get them first.

that is why i think it is going to be june till we get a black one because black is a very popular color where as blue is not that common out there so we are getting a blue one sooner.

we have sold two black zzr's in our small town and none of the other colors, and most of the bikes around here are darker in color

 

So dealerships dont have control over how many bikes they'll be receiving... its pretty much up to Kawi to decide who's going to get what.

 

Not so much the quantity but on the availability. A larger shop normally sells rides faster than a smaller shop. I could be off base in this, I do not play the game like uni does. ie in the know.
