Hi to all, I am the new guy to join the furom and to own a 2007 Kawasaki zx1000 special edition. It all started when I bought my first bike wich was a 2005 kawasaki zzr600, for those who are thinking about buying your fist bike I will defenetly recommend that bike, it was a sweet ride easy to handle and she will treat u with care, I had her for two years and I got really confortable with her, but as time went by I was feeling like my bike was getting a little to slow for me and was not going fast enough at times that I needed it to be, I talked to my wife and said to her that I saw the new 07 ninja zx1000 special edition and told her I was thinking about trading my zzr6 for it. She frowned uppon the suggestion and I told her I was going to put off buying it till later down the road, what I failed to say was that I had checked to see if the dealer down the road had it but it was not it when i checked. One day I decided to go on a ride and as I aproached the dealer I thougth what the hell Ill go in and see if they actually have it in, to my surprisethere shewas, this sweet bike calling my name and all I heard was bells ringing and of course as I walked passed one of the sells rep he said to me "Thinking about trading her in" and I said maybe, and that was all it took for me to walk out with my new 07 kawasaki Ninja zx1000 special edition. I was gone for 4 hours I get home and the wife asked "where the hell have u been" LOL, I told her to come to the garage and check out what I did to my bike, as she walked out and to her surprise she sees my brand new bike she slams the door walks inside and is pissed off the rest of the day. I wasnt too upset due to the fact that I was in cloud 9 cuz I had my bike, I figured its always easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask permission. So here I am proud owner of a kawasaki zx1000 special edition and wife did get over it and admits my bike looks hot!!.

 

ha ha ha ha ha!! that's awesome......There's god...then bikes...THEN women......lol lol

Post some pic's. As for the wife thing i know what your going through. I just ordered some stands for my bike and told her that i was and wehn i did order them she got kinda of pissy with me. Oh well! i told her now that i got them it will make it easier to work on the bike. So now she's ok with it LOL. Wifes can't live with out them and can't live with them LOL

Welcome and congrats. Know what you are talking about my ex would not let me get one then when we got divorced I bought one. I had taken her for a ride on it and she was woundering why she did not let me get one earlier. Oh well.

 

Get her a lid and tell her to hop on! Chicks digfast bikes I guess wifey's do too!
