Mine had rubberized foot pegs when I bought it, its the first thin I took off. No sense in having you feet slip off when there is any amount of mud involved. It's just a little rubber part that bolts on.

I suppose this is where the guy who was selling the black KLX plastics got them from.

I think they came out of Japan.
They have had all sorts of colour combos for a while now.
