RPM 4000 only.
Can anybody help me out with this problem that I'm having with my 1988 Kawasaki concours ZG1000, it it won't go above 4000 RPM anything above $4,000 and it just falls on his face. I rebuilt carburetors, I've rebuilt coils and cables, spark plugs and stuff. I'm stumped,. I know it could be carburetors and spark plugs but does anybody out there know if there's any kind of computer thing that will make my motorcycle not go past 4000 RPM,? There's a really strange nut and bolt on my timing thing down there that hold my timing chains in place and I was wondering if if my timing was just one tooth off if the computer would somehow slow my system down and make it not go above 4000rpm I feel just a little bit stupid so thank you very much for anybody can help me out
