Ditto, welcome, these guys are awesome. The 500R is a great bike. Redlines all day and still respects you in the morning. A common mod when you tire of the lack of power (it happens) go with a 2 into 1 with exhaust can, muzzy or Akro. Sounds wicked and improves throttle response and shows improvements throughout the powerband. Enjoy! D

I remember watching Chips when I was young, and thinking I wanted to do that job, but I would have had to move to California, and I'm not leaving Washington State ever. But you have fun down there and stay safe. And of course post pics for us to see.
