Hey all. Thought I'd drop in and pick up a bit of knowledge and knowhow about my bike before I get it. I'll most likely be picking up a 500r between 03 and now. I've got my gear and license already after taking the CHP riding coarse so I'm good to go. It will mostly be a daily driver / backup vehicle for my car whenever I'm working on it. I did a quick search on the 500s and it looks like all I'll most likely do performancewise is upgrade the shocks to fit my weight. Thanks.

no worries. my girlfriend is a midget. well. not really, I'm just a good 10" taller than her so it seems like it. thanks for the welcome. I think the most I'll be doing with this bike modwise is the suspension upgrade and cleaning up the fairing's decals and such.

and dragone#19 I know all to well what you mean about mods for the buck. modding certain cars dont yield the same bang for buck as others. haha
