Hey there I'm Andrew.... I'm pretty new to riding and this is my second bike but my first running one. Ive rode other peoples bikes for a long time and finally had the opportunity to own my own. Its a 1982 750 LTD... This is the picture of it the guy I bought it from send me. I met him over Craigslist.

I drove up to meet him and the deal was that I would trade him a shotgun I had (Savage 512 Goldwing) and my gunsafe for the bike. It started right up cold in front of me. It was 30 degrees out that day as well. So I shook his hand and we loaded it onto the truck

Finally got it home around 7 at night and snapped these outside


The next day I went to my local shop Brennys Motorcycle Clinic (free spot might mean free stuff yeah right) And got a great deal on some bags and tassels. 30 bucks actually they have a plethora of used items theyve stripped from trade in bikes and now sell cheap as hell. If your in the east Iowa area i suggest checking them out but anyways here is the final pic of the finished product so far

So thats it ill stop talkin now but if anybody knows anything about these bikes and modifying them I'm lookin to put floorboards on it and get some crashbars... any suggestions would be appreciated.

15. Who or what inspired you to ride? I loved the freedom of cruising down the mississippi so much on my waverunners that I had to bump up to the road

Thanks Man. My ole lady says the bike looks to old for me (im 25) and i should get a sport bike but i am much more into dressers and choppers. I'm glad i got the deal of the century. Thanks for the welcome too
