I got a call yesterday morning from the dealer I bought my '06 from that he had just got a red '09 in and that I could have it. I said I'll take it. So, today I picked it up. Turns out it is the first '09 in the state as I called every dealer Friday afternoon. For some reason, this tiny dealer in Ottumwa, IA got one. I just wanted to to let everyone know and show some preliminary pics. I'll talk aboutthe bikelater. Here are some pics I just took.

can anyone see anything different as far asdifferences fromcorporate pics to the actual product? there are two major changes (well, not that major but quite important to some more than others) that you can see from the left side of the bike? I still don't like the rear fender and the bike is big time smaller than the original. You can tell it sits lower but to me it still looks MX'ish enough to pass my visual inspection for satisfaction. I can touch a little better telling me the seat height is lower vs. what Kawi claims a .2" increase. Overall I'm a happy camper just to have a bike again. It's been a long time coming.

 

The lower chain guide is black as opposed to white in the corp pics, your kickstand is straight and the front brake line is routed to the inside instead of the outside of the fork.

 

Glad you finally got the bike you wanted, congratulations!

I say bolt a Muzzy exhaust on there and it'll be golden.

Are you sure it sits lower than the 06 klx....you did have a drz in between?
