I just scored a 85 KLT-160 for $100 that runs great....I know this trike was only made for one year, but really how rare is it?

Welcome to KF and congrats on a well running rig for $100

I do not forsee that ATV being a collectors item if that is what you are asking. Parts will be the most hassle if you start to break down probably, unless there are more interchangeable parts, which there are generally some or most that will in the Kawi lineups.

 

Nice! I owned an 85 Yamaha three wheeler, electric start and pull, shaft drive, that thing was a blast to ride. I bet that single machine taught me more than all the other ones combined. Here is a picture of what I had.
