well I just got a couple of old kz 650 's. Had a 900 Z1 some 30 years back, let it go after my 3rd crash. I have always ridden bikes, I own a hot rod shop that builds cars and bikes. after years of hot rods and harlies I still wanted to feel the power of a 4 cyl. bike. I was crusing craigs list and found 2 kx 650's for $600 had to drive 100 miles to see them. When we arived there they were #1 was a running bike with just over 8000 miles , been kept outside so it was a little worn, but over all good condition. #2 had been garage kept and was in a lot better cond. but diden't run. after a quick test ride the bikes were loaded and homeward bound. Bike #1 was already running so I put the best parts of both on it ( tank& side covers, chain and sprockets). New bars, really don't understand pull-backs. Now I am riding it all the time. as for biki #2all I have to do is install the cams get 1 new coil, battery, chain & sprockets, and it will be on the road. It's good to be back
