Default new floridian guy

hey guess, just like it says, I'm from Jax, Fl and just joined up. I currently own a 2003 636, I bought it brand spanking new back in 2003. I'll be honest it wasn't my first choice only cause I was stock on the R6, but couldn't find any blue ones here, so I went with the 636, Glad I did though, love it to death (well maybe not that far) lol. Anyways, so my bike has been layed twice now, not by me though, once a couple years ago by my bro (he fixed it all up for me though) and once by my friend who I was teaching here a few months ago, I'm screwed cause he aint got no money now, lost his job right afterwards so now I am stuck with fixing it up. Not to bad, i replaced the screen, need a new gas tank (it just is dented in at the top) and was thinking of just replacing all the fairings, there are only some scratches on them, no crackes, but I like to have a clean ride. Anyways, I'm not a stunter, just a rider, I can do Stoppies and burn outs, thats it. Love to watch stunters, hell used to videotape and take pictures of my friends stunting all the time. Well anyways, thats a bit about me, hope u got a little insight. Here are some pics of my bike after the second accident, it still looks like it, except for the screen. sorry if there so small

yeah man, he was taking a turn on a road, and said there was a truck so he slammed the front brakes, and flipped it. I checked it out.. there was an empty garbage can that was about it.

thanks for all the welcomes you all!

Welcome, awsome. Sorry about your bike. Rule #1: Never let anyone sit on or ride your bike without a very clear understanding that if they damage it, they will pay for the repairs or (literally) get their butt kicked. (Keep Worlok on speed dial; I hear he enjoys that sort of thing.)
If I was a betting man, I would wager that the 636 will be a collectible in several years. Get yours repaired (properly) and hang on to it.
Glad to have you aboard. Gear up; stay safe.

Hey yeah, I def hear you on collectible. I mean hey.. only made em for what.. 4-5 years? I'm not getting rid of mine. Thats for sure. Yeah though he had every intention of fixing it for me till he lost his job, I got a couple hundred right off the back from him. But now I don't even see him or anything, so I guess I will have to consider it a loss for now. Yup, I know.. Lesson learn. Though the first time wasn't my fault, my bro took it with out my knowledge, but like I said, he did fix it all out of pocket, so no grudge there. Hey anyone have a spare tank? dont care about the paint, going to get sanded and repainted anyways. Just need no dents or dings.
