Mule SX valve adjustment
I recently bought a new, 2017, Mule SX XC to replace my ancient Club Car utility cart. I was a little surprised to learn that they share a similar engine (Mule: KE400 vs Club Car: KF290).
When I took delivery of the Mule I was told that at 25 hours the engine valve/lifter clearances MUST be adjusted or the warranty would be void. This was to cost $400+. Recently, while examining an on-line service manual for the engine, I learned that the KE400 engine has hydraulically adjusted valves which never need adjusting.
Is this true? Any similar experiences out there?
