Default kx 60 motors

whats up everyone.I am new to this site so am not quite sure how it works.I am going to do a top end re-build on my son's KX 60.Its a 2004 but my clymer manual only covers motors up to 2002.Does anyone know if there is a diference in motors between those two years,or do I have to get a new manual???

Im pretty sure you will be ok usin that manual. The kx60 hasnt been changed in yrs till they discontinued them and were making a kx65. Even if they are different, 2stroke top ends are super easy. Just piston and rings is all thats in there. Just clean everything up and make sure the KIPS valve is clean and working freely.

Welcome to KF

'88-03 as mentioned above but with no KIPS on the smaller engines. Keep things clean and enjoy
