Welcome to KF!

I broke in my bike very similar to the mototune way also. It's just important not to rev the engine through the gears for too long at a time. You don't want to scorch the cylinder walls from too much heat. I did a lot of short bursts of acceleration followed by a complete cool down of the engine afterwords. So far, after 3,500 miles, (5,600 kilometers) the engine doesn't consume hardly any oil between changes. I'm very glad I did it this way instead of Kawasaki's way.

[8D](Near enough to 4:20?)
Thanks for the write backs! Kaw & Saki lets the good times role!
Still wonderin 'bout the spring I found inside the filter housing after I pulled the grody(1000 klics)filter out.The filterstayed w/the out-side cap. (rubber ring facing the o-side cover) However the spring just fell to the bottom of the filterhousing.
So I wonder ? Wrong spring diameter, etc...

Or do I lay the bike on it"s side to install a new filter?

Any 2007KLX-250 thrashers out there?

P.S. Any other "Mototune" Cherry popers out there?

"liquid cooled" I hope that means "no scorching"

Any ON.CA in To rider's round these parts?

best 'o luck to all!
(a clean joke to the best reply!{she's a beaut!}
