Hi there, I am new to this forum....
Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum and have a lot of ideas and will contribute to the forum best I can. I ride a Passion Red 03 ZX6R that I purchased on ebay this past fall. It had only 51 miles and the guy I bought it from purchased it new in February 05. I flew up to Minnesota and rode it back to Fort Worth, Texas non stop (except for gas, food and pit stops) for 17 hours. It was an awesome ride. I was grinning the whole way home. I only paid $5500 Buy It Now for it and she was Brand New! Too Good to be true; that is why it didn't get sold. The guy even offered a lay-away plan. He had a lot of money and toys including this bike. He said he always wanted one but when he got it, It scared the S??T out of him and he stored it till the snow melted. Maybe that's why! Oh, and it had a Yosh TRS slip-on installed already from the dealer. He paid almost $9000 out the door!
Anyway, since I bought it, I have changed the Slip-on to an FMF Titanium, installed a Hyperpro RSC steering damper, my own Dual headlight kit, LED running lights with turn signal function, fender eliminator, LED flush mount signals, Blue LED's in the instrument backlight, Scorpio SR-i500SE Alarm, 05 Swingarm, 05 Wheels suspension and brakes, K&N filter, and Power Commander. I will share all the tricks and modifications with you members and will post pictures soon in the "How to" section.
I am presently an Aircraft Avionics Technician for a major Airline, am ASE Certified & have a side business doing computer diagnosis and repair of cars, worked as a motorcycle mechanic for over 8 years and raced AMA & amateur club races in Northern & Southern California. Now I live in texas with my wife & 2 sons 12 & 3 1/2. I look forward to interacting with you all and hope that I can be a contribution and help to this forum. I am also looking forward to leaning a lot on this forum from you all.
Thank you.
