yeah i have an old leather jacket i'm gonna wear now that i'm out on the road more but i'm still cruising in my Vans for now haha. what do u guys recommend for boots? any (cheaper) brands i should look into? i will have a good set of gear eventually but for now i'm gonna settle with my leather jacket, jeans, and some boots in the future. are the gloves or wrist braces really nessisary that i seen some people with because aside from some decent gloves i probably won't get anything for my hands, wrists, or aside from the jacket elbows and arms.

I wear combat boots when I'm riding, but that's only because I have a seemingly unlimited supply of them that I get for free. As long as they offer good ankle protection, you'll be straight.
