thanks for the compliments guys and thanks for the info rocketrotary. the guy i bought the bike from said it's a 3 day course and costs about $180 which isn't bad, i'll probably do it in the spring.
if anyone is wondering also the bike has no mods except a vance & hines pipe that sounds awsomeand will probably get nothing except tires for awhile yet. first i gotta find a good tire for my wierd rear size of 140/70-18 but i've seen a couple options.

yeah yeah Jeff lol it was a little too crappy to really ride in yesterday and fri tho. i was out fri for a little but like on sunday i don't really feel like riding in a foot of water [8D]when my pipe wouldn't be above the water level it's probably not good to ride haha

so on the road a little tonight and i'm GLAD i'm very much on the defensive. damn girl didn't even see me (yeah yeah i know), well i was getting ready to turn a corner and i seen this girl wasn't even looking so i damn near stopped in the street and it's a good thing i did!! she looked right through me and barrelled through the intersection!! what a bitch!! no scare or harm done to me really just glad to have a good experience on learning to keep my eyes open for idiots. right now and probably always i ride as tho i am invisible since everyone will treat me like it.
i must say though, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL DAY to be out!! i left expecting to bare the cold [:'(]and it ended up being about 60 out and with a light sweatshirt made for a great day to be out and about. hopefully, the weather will hold for awhile and i can get in another week at least of riding before givin her up for the winter months. but 70s all week and upper 70s this weekend are gonna be awsome! possible rain tomorrow but oh well.

Make sure you get some good riding gear. A sweatshirt will do absolutely nothing for you if you lay it down. You need to get, at the minimum, a good riding jacket and some good boots.
