Good choice on the bike. The price doesn't sound to bad to me Emericanme but try talking them down some maybe they will come close to the price your willing to pay. As madkaw said it doesn't matter how it looks it's your first bike and it won't hurt as bad if it goes down then buying a brand new bike and dropping her.

 

Well said Bluebeast! Mine is a 94 and is in amazing shape - hardly a scratch on it when I first got it. Let me tell ya, was I ever mad when I dropped it [:@], at least nothing broke, just added a few more scratches.
