Hey guys, I'm 18, new rider and I've just purchased my first bike. It is a 1990 600r that I found for $2000, talked the guy down to $1500, so I feel like I got a great deal considering the time of the year and the bike. Only has about 13,000 miles on it too. The guy said it has been layed down once, but he replaced the fairings from his old 600r which was the same year (had a blown motor). Bike starts easily, runs really well now (he let me take it for a ride). I've already spent a lot of time on my buddy's 250r, as well as on various dualsport bikes. Got my permit a few weeks ago, and I'm signed up for a safety course in a month. Put a small deposit on it, and I'm going down with my buddy who rides who is going to ride it home for me! Is there anyone else who has a 600r similar to mine?

Welcome to the forums. Not similar, butsold the '88 zx750 but still have the '90 zx7 and they are similar.
