Engine oil?
Just got 01 kx100 as trade for money owed....dont know anything bout dirt bikes.....might b stupid question but I noticed there is an oil fill plug....are you suppose to fill this bike with oil and premix gas? Please help anyone....thanks again

Being a two stroke, you still need to check/fill the separate transmission fluids via that cap that you are mentioning.

Ok , very hepful, again thank you. Sorry to bother again but do you or anyone else know what type of fluid transmission or gear oil for the kx100 and what is the gas oil mixture for it. Any help would b greatly appreciated.
My 2000-2004 supplement for the KX 60,80, KDX80 and KX100 lists this....oil/petro mix 32:1 and the trans at a API SE, SF or SG. API SH or SJ with jASO MA. SAE10w40
