I've been lurking here for awhile, figured it was time to join. Appreciate the access to all the info. I bought my 2009 KLX250S July 4th, 2008. The local dealer didn't have any to check out so I drove to the next closest dealer 150 miles away "just to take a look". They had a red one built up that I checked out and got to ride around a little bit. The green one was still in the crate. I "just happened" to not have any of the back seats in my mini van, so guess what what was strapped in there for the drive home. Yup, it followed me home. Great guys at the dealership. They put everything on hold to assemble my new toy even though I offered to come back another day to get it. The local dealer had declined to even put me in touch with a local buyer to be able to just see the new KLX250. All I would have wanted to do is look at it and maybe sit on it. Unless the owner offered I wouldn't even have asked to go for a ride. This bike is my first ever NEW motorized vehicle of any sort. I have bought a couple of new mountain bikes though (life is good when your bicycle is worth more than your car!!).

lol first pic i see from you is a dirt nap for the girl....lol nice! riders always welcome to KFgear heads or bullsh1ters tooo....lol had to be fair to all

 

There is a pic of the bike upright attached in a post above. Haven't figured out how to make a picture show in a post yet.
The Cycleracks rack does a great job of protecting the turn signals etc at nap time. Also gives you lots of handholds for picking the bike up. I haven't ridden two up yet but did pretend to be the passenger; the rack gives the passenger good grips. When the owner of a local bike shop saw the rack, his comment was "You could put a moose on that"!
