Default Clutch slipage

I have a 1982 LTD 1000 Kaw.. The clutch is slipping in (all) gears. When I (decrease) rpm it seems to (grab) but w/increased rpms it slips again.
Adjusting screw has been adjusted correctley. Metal plates/friction plates shows (minor) ware. Bike has 26K on it.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Brakallie1

When was the last time you replaced the clutch pack spring(s)? An '82 should be cable clutch; there's not much to go wrong. Sometimes the wrong oil can mess you up. I'd probably use a dinosaur oil (i.e non-synthetic) in an '82. May need to get another clutch pack just to try it.

Welcome to KF

What is the history of this ride? Has it used synthetic oil in the past? Even if the " Metal plates/friction plates shows (minor) ware Bike has 26K on it." As mentioned above, let us know.
