Default Can i upgrade?

Hey i was just wonderin what u guys think i should do. I have been ridin a 250 for bout 4 months and have put a little over 2000 miles on it. I feel that i conquered it and that i can upgrade. I wanna get the 03 zx-6rr but i don't know if i can handle it. I know alot of people say that you can handle the power it is all in the wrist. What do u think i should do.

As you have mentioned. You feel like you have conquered the 250 ninja's aspects. But you are questioning about a 6rr.
You alone know your abilities and it sounds like you know them. I am not going to really answer your question for you. I am sure you know this, but all rides need to be respected. 4 months on a soft setup with x amount of power in a powerband. I am all for a 6rr for a ride and also on the 250.
ok, I started rambling. What are you wanting out of a ride?

I think the main reason y i want the 6rr is for the power it has. About two weeks after i started ridin my 250 i got it up to 110. I just don't know if i am jumpin up to high on the cc's for such a short time of riding experience.

Riding experience and your knowledge and comfort levels are the key elements here. All rides are good. What kind of money is needed to transform a ride if needed also comes in handy with your skill level.

Dragone I couldn't agree with you more.

welcome the the forums Flyin3360. You may be scared out of your mind with that much power but then again only you know your riding abilities. As long as you respect the bike and it's power and ride within your limits you should be fine.
